We are counting the days left to pack and leave the beach to enjoy the sun and some well deserved days off. Having your own apartment near the sea is the reality of many of the rest and sleep. Making our apartment on the coast has all the attributes of a perfect home for the summer is easier than you think, since the elements that require this type of housing are fewer in number when compared to our residence.
The most important thing is that “when furnishing an apartment on the beach, you consider your needs during these holidays,” said Falcon Rabida, an expert in home decoration.
If there is a key differentiating factor between the urban and coastal property is orientation. As Ana reveals Marset, Marset Project, “the key to give us the sights”, adding that it must “promote this virtue.” The same view is the interior Lola Lago, which invites “any distribution is oriented to these view are the stars of space.” We are the ones who, tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, leaving the dream of gazing into the infinity of the ocean, so “armchairs, sofas and beds should have windows facing the sea in order to get the most from the outside.”

The key is in the sights The objectives are marked with this type of locations are related to the size and lightness. According Marset, these maxims are tied to a “timeless interior, not so much governed by fashion, but for the beauty of design.” Also, the latter should focus on a hopeless functionality, looking multipurpose spaces where “the living can also be a bedroom, the kitchen is built into the living room or bedroom can accommodate the largest number of people at any given time,” says Lola Lago.
The floor of this place for relaxation are dependent on the sand and water that we bring in shoes, so the best options are the marble, terrazzo, stoneware and ceramics in general. These materials are most appropriate for their strength, while the thermal sensation of freshness that broadcast is a great advantage. In this regard, Lake reminds us that “the ground, with material that is, summer is a great support to rest, and some cushions, can be as comfortable or more than a large sofa.”
Apart from the excellent national porcelain which we can use or elegant and luxurious stones like marble, from Marset suggest the possibility of installing hardwoods like ipe or iroko. Most often reject this ground for its delicacy, but choosing the right variety and good pretreatment usually banish the constant maintenance of wooden surfaces. The decorator Rabida Falcon states that “on the walls, the paintings draw on soft or pastel shades.”
Cool from floor to ceiling Regarding colors, the aesthetic treatment would not necessarily be based on previous judgments. In fact, Lola Lago said that, although the tones “clean and fresh” are the best, “we should not differentiate between those who like to have in our first home and the beach.” No lose sight of the light, so the interior refers primarily to white, which is the ideal color to enhance the light. The entire range of this ally of clarity would be welcome, “from stone and ivory tones, although in some rooms allow us a color point, say from projects Marset.

Transparency and naturalness are common denominators of the textiles that cover a multitude of tissues possible, “from linen to cotton, to chiffon, and synthetic lawn,” according to Falcon. The decorator indicates that a good bet for the curtains are the type Blinds screen, to “let in light and not heat of the sun”, coinciding with the optical Marset “very bright areas, like the beach, we put these blinds special, which are made of fiberglass and have a solar filter that performs a dual function: decorative and functional, because do not let the heat even though the windows are enormous. “
